Jan Holleman and her team at Clarksville 50 + Activity Center threw a New Year's Eve party to usher in 2019 with style.
Guests began arriving at 7 p.m., at which point they entered the dining area for a dinner that included broiled chicken, pork roast, and the traditional greens, and black-eyed peas.
Afterward, everyone gathered in the large assembly room, where they were greeted by festive holiday decorations, including party favors, noise makers, and hats. That's where the fun was taken to the next level.
“We had 84 people who partied until after midnight,” Holleman said. “The evening was a big success. We all enjoyed a nice dinner, and then I think everyone really had fun dancing to the live music from Scotty Dean & the Showdown Band. It was a great way to start the new year.”
