Mayor Kim McMillan, members of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, and other supporters of the Clarksville 50+ Activity Center came out for the grand opening of The Shoppe.
Janet Holleman is in charge of marketing and fundraising at the 50+ Center. She welcomed everyone to the event and introduced Glenda Rohner as the Shoppe's General Manager.
“We were so pleased to have so many with us for the official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening of The Shoppe,” Holleman said. “It's a thrift shop, and consignment shop that will be open to the general public as well as our members. We will offer new and used items. There will be lots of clothing, as well as merchandise for children and pets, household items and more. We will have a great variety of things here, and we invite everyone to come see what's available.”
The Shoppe will be open every day from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. It is accepting donations and items for consigment. Items donated to the 50+ Center are tax deductible.
