Clarksville Country Club was the site of the recent Legends Bank 2nd Annual Charity Golf Scramble to benefit United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region.
“We are proud to host this United Way Game Changer golf scramble,” Legends Bank's Britney Campbell said. “We invited a lot of our corporate sponsors for a really fun day on the golf course.”
Campbell said that to make the most of the “Game Changer” theme, organizers added lots of fun things for golfers to do that aren't normally found in a typical golf tournament.
“The tournament was fun, but more importantly, it will benefit United Way of Clarksville,” Campbell said. “We were honored to work with Ginna (Holleman) and her team, and we had a lot of volunteers at the tournament to help raise funds.”
Campbell said that18 teams were signed up to play, and there was a silent auction. The goal was to raise $9,000 or more.
“We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous support of Legends Bank, and all they do not just for United Way, but for the community,” United Way's Ginna Holleman said. “They truly change the game and create such an impact in so many different lives. We couldn't do what we do without their support and that of all our workplace partners.”
