Tabernacle Christian School held its Fall Festival recently with a carnival atmosphere that featured games, pony rides, cake walks, great music and food..
Principal Patricia Miller took a moment to share her thoughts on the event. “This is our annual Fall Festival,” Miller said. “What makes this so special is that our Student Council organizes this each year. The festival is an opportunity for our students to learn about leadership responsibility and giving back to others.”
The students created games for the event, there were bounce houses, and a live DJ. Tents were set up where parents prepared and sold a variety of delicious foods—everything from freshly grilled items to baked goods.
“The students put a lot of work into this festival, and they seemed to have a lot of fun,” Miller said.” All of the parents came out to support them. We prayed that the rain would hold off, but the night was already a success despite the threatening weather.. We have great families here, and we are blessed with whatever God brings us.”
