This year's event had something for everyone: rock climbing, Swifty Swine pig racing, giant bubbles, hula hooping, a tractor display, a car show, and a magic show by Mark Comley.
In addition to numerous food choices, festival-goers were surrounded by great music throughout the event. Justin Reynolds, Queeva, Josh Cristina and more each took their turn on stage. Saturday's performances included Dry Creek Band, Ryan Kinder, Sandra Lynn, and country music supergroup Shenandoah on the WKDZ Renaissance Stage.
Of course the star of the festival is always the fantastic Trigg County Ham. Soon after the Hog Calling contest, (suspiciously) there were a myriad of events like Trigg County's Best Country Ham Biscuit Competition, the Country Ham Show, and Kentucky's Largest Ham & Biscuit.
This is a great small-town festival. People come from many states to enjoy the festivities and great food. If you haven't been there yet, you should definitely give it a try.
