The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce recently held its 113th Annual Chamber Dinner and Gala at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.
This year's event, which was sponsored by Jubilee House, featured dinner, an awards presentation, and the official passing of the gavel, as Chairman Charlie Koon's reign ended and Jay Albertia's began.
“Tonight, we get to recognize some of our members for the great work they have done over the past year,” Koon said. “Then, I get to pass the gavel to Jay. I think we had a great year. We made a lot of inroads with Fort Campbell and progress was made on some workforce development issues. I think it was a very good year.”
The 2018 Ted A. Crozier Community Commitment Award went to Lee Erwin. Sammy Stuard received The Lifetime Achievement Award. Executive Committee members Vicki Henson and James Corlew were honored for their leadership, and gifts of appreciation were presented to members of the 2017-2018 Board of Directors.
The Ambassador of the Year Award went to Amber Anderson, Clarksville Young Professional of the Year honors went to Dee Colburn, and the Boots to Suits Award was given to Richard Eskildson.
