Dr. Rachel Rome serves as Medical Director for LifeLinc Pain Centers in Springfield, TN and Hopkinsville, KY. She has extensive experience in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients for chronic pain management. As there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution for chronic pain treatment, Dr. Rome utilizes multiple modalities in her approach to mitigating chronic pain symptoms. Interventional treatments include epidural steroid injections, facet injections / medial branch nerve blocks / radio-frequency, genicular nerve blocks / radio-frequency, sacroiliac joint injections / radio-frequency, sympathetic nerve blocks, migraine headache procedures and spinal cord stimulators. Dr. Rome believes pain management is an integral part of a holistic care program, working in conjunction with other healthcare providers to achieve excellent clinical outcomes for her patients via physical therapy, aquatic therapy, and mental health services. Healthier lifestyle habits are also key components to Dr. Rome’s treatment plans.
Dr. Rome is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) in both Pain Management & Anesthesiology. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee and completed her Anesthesiology Residency and Pain Management Fellowship at the University of Virginia Health Science System.
