The annual Father Daughter Date Night took place recently at Wilma Rudolph Event Center. The event was described as a perfect place for fathers, uncles, grandfathers, positive role models of all kinds to enjoy an evening with their special girl.
Rob Rayburn from Clarksville Parks & Recreation talked about the event. “This is our 4th Annual Father Daughter Date Night,” Rayburn said. “This year, we have a combined total of 415 dads and daughters. The purpose of this event is to give these fathers, who are positive role models in their daughters’ lives, an opportunity chance to have a proper date night with food, games, and giveaways. It's a really fun evening for everyone.”
“There was a free photo booth as well as an opportunity to have photographs taken by Pro Studio 7,” Rayburn said. “We also had an arts & crafts activity and we taught line dancing to everyone as part of this year's Western theme.”
Chick-fil-A provided the food for this year’s Western-themed event.
