Eat, Drink, and Be Very, Very Merry

Peg Hayes of Casey Jones Distillery wanted to throw one final party to mark the end of 2017, so she invited Cayce Burks and The Moonlight Band to provide the entertainment and Soul Fuel to provide the food. “We’re calling this party Eat, Drink and be Very, Very Merry.” Hayes said. “This is a thank-you to our customers for the great year we’ve had in 2017. We had the Great American Eclipse, which was the ultimate mystical, magical event of all time. It was so cool. Everyone was so happy and joyous, and we have maintained that feeling all year. We just wanted to have one more party to celebrate 2017.” Casey Jones Distillery has quickly become one of the area’s favorite locations for indoor and outdoor events, and the recently-expanded facility is a great showcase for their products. Hayes is excited about her newest bottled offering, a 1.75 liter bottle of 100 proof, true Kentucky moonshine. “We have big, big plans for 2018,” Hayes said. “Watch for some exciting announcements after the first of the year. We are so thankful to all the people who have supported us and we are so appreciative of our great staff who work so hard. So, be ready, there are great new things coming.”
