About 60 local leaders gathered recently at the home of Sarah and Colonel Joe Kuchan, Garrison Commander, USAG Fort Campbell, KY, for an Executive Community Partnership Reception.
“This reception provided an opportunity for Fort Campbell and leaders from Montgomery County, Clarksville, Oak Grove, Hopkinsville, and Christian County, as well as APSU and HCC to discuss potential and ongoing partnerships,” Kuchan said.
“These partnerships include the $7.7M grant (through the Campbell Strong Workforce Partnership) to help military spouses and transitioning soldiers find employment, the recently approved animal control inter-Governmental Support Agreement with Montgomery County, the renovation of the Survivor Outreach Services building, and multiple ongoing efforts with Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Clarksville and APSU.”
Guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails in a casual outdoor setting on the grounds of the Kuchan's home.
“This event,” Kuchan said, “which was hosted by the Fort Campbell garrison, also allowed the Fort Campbell leadership to thank surrounding community leaders for all the support they provide the Soldiers and families of Fort Campbell.”
