Christian County Chamber of Commerce held its February Business After Hours at Minority Economic Development Initiative (MEDI), a downtown Hopkinsville business that has served Western Kentucky since 1988.

“We offer small business and economic development assistance,” said MEDI's Henry Snorton III. . “We help start-ups that are minority-owned and women-owned businesses in the community, and we help existing businesses with expansion if they meet our criteria. But we are inclusive. We try to serve everybody. We want to let people know that we welcome anyone who comes through our door.”

“MEDI was our gracious host for the evening at our monthly Business After Hours,” said Kirstie Darnall, Director of Events and Marketing for the Christian County Chamber of Commerce. “ Every February we partner with the Leadership Hopkinsville/Christian County Committee and present two awards to local business leaders.”

“This year, Ryan Milauskas won the Leadership in Action award, and Leslie Carroll won the Legacy of Leadership award.”
